Our award-winning sourdough is our specialty, but all products are freshly-made on site using traditional artisan production techniques with a large dose of care, time and attention.

Our Ethos

We use only organic or environmentally sustainable ingredients from ethical suppliers (local where possible), and hand-shaping and long-fermentation techniques for the best possible quality, taste and nutritional value.

Bakerman Bread

Our bread range changes from week to week, with various guest loaves added to our regular offerings. Check our social media or the menu board in the shop for current selections.

Country sourdough

Some people call it our ‘plain’ sourdough, we don’t think so. Naturally leavened and made with a blend of white, wholemeal and dark rye flours.

Multiseed sourdough

A hearty loaf containing a large portion of wholemeal flour as well as sunflower seeds, linseeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds and poppy seeds.

Malted ('granary') sourdough

Sourdough containing malted barley flour and toasted malted wheat flakes for a rich malty flavour.

Guest sourdough

We have a regularly changing ‘guest’ loaf. Examples include Parmesan & Black Pepper Sourdough, Turmeric, Red Onion & Nigella Seed Sourdough, Miso & Sesame Sourdough

Sourdough baguettes

– Naturally leavened baguettes made using 100% regeneratively grown flour. We think they’re as good as any you’ll find in France!

Focaccia

Deep pillowy focaccia, fermented overnight. Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. Made using copious amounts of Honest Toil extra virgin olive oil. Regularly changing toppings.

Teacakes

Large, squidgy and soft, these aren’t your average teacakes! Packed full of currants and candied peel.

Traditional white tin

The ultimate bacon sandwich bread, also perfect for toast. Our take on a White tin loaf. Crispy on top, soft inside. Fermented overnight for extra flavour.
